Rare earths are lanthanides in the periodic table of chemical elements - La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd , Dy, Ho, Tm, Yb, Lu, and the two elements that are closely related to the 15 elements of the system - (Sc) And yttrium (Y) a total of 17 elements, called rare earth elements.
